Network Discovery Overview

When you set up a Systems Management Server (SMS) system, you should configure and run Network Discovery to find what you have in your environment. There are three levels of Network Discovery:

• Network topology only (example)
• Network topology and potential clients (example)
• Network topology, potential clients, and their operating systems (example)
