When the Topology and client Network Discovery type is selected for a site, SMS discovers routers, subnets, and potential clients and stores the resource information in the SMS site database.
The following diagram shows what this type of Network Discovery finds when it runs on Server 1 with 0 router hops specified: subnet D, Router 1, and all potential clients on subnet D.
