Network Discovery Properties Dialog Box: DHCP Tab

Use this tab to specify Microsoft DHCP servers that Network Discovery uses to discover resources. Network Discovery reads the databases of Microsoft DHCP servers to find DHCP subnet scopes and resources that have an active IP-address lease from the DHCP server. (See About DHCP Servers and the SMS Service Account.)

DHCP servers
The DHCP servers currently configured for Network Discovery.
IP address
The IP address (for example, 131.24.10.0) of a Microsoft DHCP server on the network.
Name
The name of the DHCP server.

Click to open the New DHCP Server dialog box, to add a new entry to this table.
Picture of Delete Button
Click to delete the selected DHCP server. If no DHCP server is selected, this button is disabled.
