Viewing file system service nodes

You can view CIFS service nodes for file storage systems, such as VNX and VNXe.

To view the service nodes for a file storage system:

1. In the left pane of the ESI window, select the storage system.

2. For storage systems that support both block and file protocols, select File View from the Switch View list box in the center pane.

3. In the center pane, click Service Nodes.

4. Click the plus (+) symbol to expand for more details.

To view the service nodes for block storage systems, refer to Viewing service nodes.

Note: To customize the center pane, such as to remove or add columns for a custom view, right-click the column and select actions from the menu.
