You can view masked LUNs in ESI for all supported EMC storage systems. Masked LUNs are provisioned and managed as logical storage system components in ESI. How you view masked LUNs depends on which storage system you are managing:
For VNX, VNXe3200, and CX4 file and block storage systems, you can view masked LUNs in the Storage Groups tab. Viewing storage groups provides details.
For VMAX and some VNXe storage systems, use the LUN Masking Views tab to view masked LUNs.
Note: You can also view masked LUNs with the ESI PowerShell Toolkit. Get-EmcLunMaskingView provides details.
To view LUNS information in LUN Masking Views for VNXe and VMAX storage systems:
In the left pane of the ESI window, select the storage system.
For storage systems that support both block and file protocols, such as VNX and VNXe3200, select Block View from the Switch View list box in the center pane.
Click LUN Masking Views in the center pane. The masked LUNs are displayed.
Note: To customize the center pane, such as to remove or add columns for a custom view, right-click a column in the center pane and select actions from the menu.
