To find out if a Configuration Manager 2007 site is operating in mixed mode or native mode, use one of the following procedures.
To identify the site mode of a site using the site database home page:

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager

Click Site Database, and then view the home page in the results pane.

The home page will display one of the following to identify the current site mode:
- This site is running in mixed mode
- This site is running in native
mode
- This site is running in mixed mode
To identify the site mode of a site using the Site Properties:

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management.

Right-click <site code> - <site name> and then click Properties.

Click the Site Mode tab in the Site Properties dialog box, and then view the Site mode setting, which will display one of the following:
- Mixed
- Native
- Mixed

Click OK.
