Query Rule Properties Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to specify a query-based membership rule for the current collection.

Name

The name of the membership rule. You can specify up to 50 characters (including spaces) for the name of the membership rule. This field is required.

Browse: Click to open the Browse Query dialog box, which enables you to select an existing query.

Resource class

The standard architecture used to find a set of related objects. By default, System is selected.

Edit Query Statement: Click to open the Query Statement Properties dialog box, which enables you to specify the membership rule query expression.

Collection limiting

Specify whether the rule is limited to a specific collection.

Not collection limited

Specifies that the membership rule can run without being limited to a particular collection.

Note If you do not have security rights to read all collections, you cannot select this option.

Limit to collection

Specifies a collection that the membership rule will be limited to. By default, this option is selected.

<collection>: The collection to limit the query to. Maximum length is 50 characters.
Browse: Click to select a collection in the Browse Collection dialog box.
