If you have selected the option Use Reporting Services Reports for Admin console report links in the Report Options dialog box and if you have more than one reporting services point in your Configuration Manager 2007 R2 site hierarchy, you can set the default report server that will be used when displaying SQL Reporting Services reports run from links in the Configuration Manager console.

Note
The information in this topic applies only to Configuration Manager 2007 R2 and Configuration Manager 2007 R3.

To change the default report server for displaying reports from Configuration Manager console links

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager, right-click the Site Database node, and select Report Options.

  2. In the Report Options dialog box, under Reporting Services Reporting, select the default report server to use when running reports from the drop-down list.

    Note
This setting only applies to reports run from Configuration Manager console links.
  3. If you want report links in the Configuration Manager console to open using SQL Reporting Services instead of the standard Configuration Manager reports, select Use Reporting Services Reports for Admin console report links.

    Note
Report links will open in SQL Reporting Services only if the Configuration Manager report has been copied to SQL Reporting Services by using the Copy Reports to Reporting Services Wizard.
  4. If you want reports to open in a new window instead of the Configuration Manager console, select Open reports in a new window.

  5. Click OK to close the Report Options dialog box.
