Use this tab to view or modify specific information about the
selected product. The information in this tab is contained in the
product compliance database. You can also use this tab to specify a
new product to add to the database
manually.
Company
The name of the company that manufactured the product. This
field is optional.
Language
The language of the product. If this field is left empty, SMS
uses the information in the manufacturer-created header file (in
the HDR-Prod ID field, if it exists). If this information is
not specified, the language will be listed as "Unknown" when the
product compliance query is executed. This field is optional.
Platform
The platform that this product will run on. If this field is
left empty, the platform will be listed as "Unknown." when the
product compliance query is executed. This field is optional.
Data source
The source of the product compliance information about this
product. If this field is left empty, the user name and the domain
of the user currently logged on will be used, in the format
domain\username. This field is required.
URL
The Uniform Resource Locator (Web address) from which the
product compliance information was obtained. This information can
be helpful for obtaining product compliance updates. This field is
optional.
