Get Collection Members
The Get Collection Members object will create a list of the current members of a collection. Configuring the Get Collection Members object is similar to listing the members of a collection using the SMS Administrator Console.Note: The Opalis Client and Action Server user accounts must have sufficient rights to view programs, collections, and packages as well as create advertisements.How it is usedThe Get Collection Members object can be used to publish a list of all members of a collection as Published Data for use by other objects in your Policy.ConfigurationTo configure the Get Collection Members object you will need to know the name of the server and the login credentials where the collection is stored, and the name of the collection whose members you want to list.Details tab
Server Type the name or IP address of the SMS server of the collection whose member names you want to list. The SMS server cannot be located on the same computer as the Opalis Action Server or Client. User name Type the Windows account name that will be used to log into the SMS server. For example, smsadmin@abccompany.com or ABCCompany\SMSAdmin. Password Type the password that is associated with the Windows account name specified. Collection Type the name of the collection whose members you want to list, or click the ellipsis button (...) to browse for it. The collection name that you refer to can be generated by query rule or hard rule. Include members of sub-collections Select this option to include members of sub-collections.Available Published Data
Name Description SMS server name The name of the SMS server where the collection whose members you want to list is stored. Collection id The id of the collection whose members you want to list. Collection name The name of the collection whose members you want to list. Collection member The name of a specific collection member that you want to list. Member resource type The resource type of the member in the collection. It can be User Group, User, System, or IP Network.
