
Update Change
The Update Change object enables you
to update or close an existing change item.
How it is used
Use the Update Change object to add
information to a change item that provides an audit trail of the
steps that were taken during a diagnostic Policy.
Configuration
To configure the Update Change
object you need to know the ID of the change item that you are
updating or closing, and the fields that you are changing.

Type the ID of the change item
that you are updating, or insert a Published Data item from another
object.

To add or remove fields
that will be modified:

Click Select Fields. The Select Fields dialog appears.

Select the fields that you want
to make configurable in the Available fields list and click
>> to add them to the
Selected fields list.

To remove fields that have
already been added, select them in the Selected fields list and click
<<.

Available Published Data
Common fields that are used as part
of an HP OpenView Operations Service Desk change item are available
as Published Data. The names of the Published Data items for each
field reflect the names of the fields in the HP OpenView Operations
Service Desk client.
