In ESI, you can select an AppSync database to protect. The Protect Now action creates a database copy of the selected application database, which then prompts you to select the type of service plan to use to protect the database.
To protect a database with a database copy and specified AppSync service plan:
In the left pane of the ESI window, select the AppSync replication service.
In the Actions pane, click Connect.
When the Protection Switch View is selected, select a database.
In the Actions pane, select Protect Now.
In the Protect Database wizard, select the AppSync service plan to use, and then click Next.
On the Review Input Parameters page, review the parameters, and then click Next.
On the Progress page, click Next.
Note: Click More Information for more progress details. If a problem occurs, an error message appears with options to resume or roll back the process. After you resolve the error, click Resume to resume the process. Click Rollback to revert to the previous step.
On the Summary page, click Finish.
