After you have created Configuration Manager NAP Network Access Protection (NAP) policies in Configuration Manager 2007, the easiest way to view them in the Configuration Manager console with their Effective Date is by using the Policies node. However, the properties of a packaged software update under the Software Updates node will also display the Effective Date if it is configured for NAP evaluation.

You can also view the Configuration Manager NAP policies by running the following report: List of Network Access Protection policies.

To view Configuration Manager NAP Policies in the Policies node

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Network Access Protection / Policies.

  2. View the policies displayed in the results pane.

To display the NAP evaluation properties of a software update

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Updates / Updates Repository.

  2. Navigate to the node that contains the software update until you can see the software update details in the results pane.

  3. View the NAP Evaluation column. When a software update is included in a Configuration Manager NAP policy, this column will display the Effective Date.
