The Software Distribution Package Status Home page in the Configuration Manager 2007 console tree displays summary information for each package on the Configuration Manager 2007 site.
For each site to which the package is targeted, the following information is shown by default:
- Site: Displays the name of the
Configuration Manager 2007 site to which the package is
targeted.
- Source Version: Displays the version
number of the package source files. This is incremented each time
you revise the package and can be used to determine whether a
distribution point has the latest version of the package
source.
- Targeted: Displays the total number of
distribution points, including child sites that have been targeted
with a copy of the package.
- Installed: Displays the total number
of distribution points to which the current version of the package
has been successfully copied.
- Retrying: Displays the total number of
distribution points that have experienced a failure copying this
package, but that have not yet exceeded the number of retries
allowed and are currently in an installation retrying or a removal
retrying state.
- Failed: Displays the total number of
distribution points that have exceeded the number of retries
allowed during an install or removal operation and are currently in
an installation failed or retry failed state.
- Summary Date: Displays the date and
time when the Configuration Manager 2007 component status
summarizer last updated the values displayed on this home page.
Selecting any site from the Package Status node displays the following information by default:
- Distribution Point: Displays the name
of each distribution point to which this package has been
targeted.
- Source Version: Displays the version
number of the package source files. This is incremented each time
you revise the package and can be used to determine whether a
distribution point has the latest version of the package
source.
- State: Displays the current status of
the package on the distribution point.
- Last Copied: Displays the date and
time when the package was last copied to the distribution
point.
- Path: Displays the location of the
package files on the distribution point.
- Summary Date: Displays the date and
time when the Configuration Manager 2007 component status
summarizer last updated the values displayed on this home page.
You can use View, Add/Remove columns to add or remove information from this list.
