Before the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 mobile device client can be installed on mobile devices, a folder containing the files necessary for installation must be created. The mobile device client folder contains files necessary to install, configure, upgrade, and uninstall the mobile device client. The contents of the folder depend upon where it will be deployed. The mobile device source folders can be deployed in the following locations:
- Computers that synchronize with mobile
devices
- Mobile devices
