Use the Assign Configuration Baseline Wizard in Configuration Manager 2007 to assign a configuration baseline to a Configuration Manager 2007 collection. After a configuration baseline is assigned to a collection, the assignment is shown in the Assignments tab of the configuration baseline properties where it can be edited or deleted.

Choose Configuration Baselines Page

Specifies one or more configuration baselines to assign to a Configuration Manager 2007 collection. After the assignment is created, it is displayed in the Configuration Baseline Properties: Assignments Tab

Choose Collection Page

Specifies the Configuration Manager 2007 collection to assign the configuration baseline to and whether to include members of subcollections in the assignment. After the assignment is created, it is displayed in the Configuration Baseline Properties: Assignments Tab

Set Schedule Page

Specifies the schedule by which the assigned configuration baseline will be evaluated on client computers. This can be either a simple or a custom schedule. After the assignment is created, it is displayed in the Configuration Baseline Properties: Assignments Tab

Note
Although you can assign configuration baselines to a collection that contains users or user groups, the configuration baselines will only be evaluated on client computers in the collection, and not users or user groups in the collection.

Displays the Wizard - Summary Page.

Progress Page

Displays the Wizard - Progress Page.

Completing the Wizard Page

Displays the Wizard - Completing the Wizard Page.
