The Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Import Object Wizard and Export Object Wizard can be used to import and export individual collections, queries, reports, or classes of objects. You can, for example, share these object definitions between sites.
Using the Export Object Wizard
The Export Object Wizard guides you through the steps necessary to export collections, queries, or reports from the site database into a Managed Object Format (MOF) file. You can use the Export Object Wizard to export individual collections, queries, or reports or classes of objects.
To export a collection, query, or report

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to and right-click the object or object class that you want to export (Collections, Queries, or Reports) and select Export Objects.

Complete the Export Object Wizard, and then click Finish.
Using the Import Object Wizard
The Import Object Wizard guides you through the steps necessary to import collections, queries, or reports into the site database from a Managed Object Format (MOF) file.
To import a collection, query, or report

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to and right-click the object class that you want to import (Collections, Queries, or Reports) and select Import Objects.

Complete the Import Object Wizard, and then click Finish.
Security
You must have Create permission to import objects.
You must have Read permission to export objects.
