To delete status messages from the Configuration Manager 2007 database, use the following procedure.

| You must have Delete rights for the Status Message security object class to perform this procedure. |
To delete status messages

In ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer, select the status messages that you want to delete.

Click Edit, and then click Delete. The selected messages are deleted from the Configuration Manager site database.
