The Configuration Manager 2007 Software Update Point Properties dialog box displays information about the software update point settings. Use the following procedure to access the Software Update Point Component Properties.
To open the Software Update Point Configuration Properties dialog box-
In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> - <site name> / Site Settings / Component Configuration.

Right-click Software Update Point Component, and then click Properties.
Click any link in the following section for detailed information about its associated tab in the dialog box:

- Software Update Point Component Properties: General Tab
- Specifies whether the software update point is enabled, and if so, what server is the active software update point.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Internet-Based Tab
- Specifies whether an Internet-based software update point is enabled, and if so, what server is the active Internet-based software update point.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Sync Settings Tab
- Specifies the synchronization source for the software update point and whether WSUS reporting events are created on client computers.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Classifications Tab
- Specifies the classifications for which software updates will be synchronized.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Products Tab
- Specifies the products for which software updates will be synchronized.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Sync Schedule Tab
- Specifies whether to synchronize software updates on a schedule or manually.
- Software Update Point Component Properties: Languages Tab
- Specifies the languages that are downloaded for software update files and update summary information.
