The Package Status home page in Configuration Manager 2007 displays a snapshot of all packages currently defined for the Configuration Manager 2007 site.
For each package in the list, the following information is shown by default:
- Name: Displays the name of the
package.
- Source Version: Displays the version
number of the package source files. This is incremented each time
you revise the package and can be used to determine whether a
distribution point has the latest version of the package
source.
- Version Date: Displays the time and
date when the package was last changed.
- Targeted: Displays the total number of
distribution points, including child sites that have a copy of the
package.
- Installed: Displays the total number
of distribution points to which the current version of the package
has been successfully copied.
- Retrying: Displays the total number of
distribution points that have experienced a failure copying this
package, but that have not yet exceeded the number of retries
allowed and are currently in an installation retrying or a removal
retrying state.
- Failed: Displays the total number of
distribution points that have exceeded the number of retries
allowed during an install or removal operation and are currently in
an installation failed or retry failed state.
- Source Site: Displays the
Configuration Manager 2007 site where the package was created.
- Size: Displays the size of the package
source folder.
- Compressed Size: Displays the size of
the compressed version of the package source folder. This is only
displayed if creation of a compressed copy is specified in the
package properties or if the package is targeted to a distribution
point in a child site.
- Package ID: Displays the internally
assigned identifier for this package. The first three characters of
this ID correspond to the site code of the originating
Configuration Manager 2007 site.
You can use View, Add/Remove columns to add or remove information from this list.
