Use this task sequence condition to evaluate whether the specified software is installed on the destination computer. You can only evaluate software that was installed using a Windows Installer file (.MSI).
The following settings can be configured for this condition:
- MSI file
 
- The local path and file name for the Windows Installer file
(.MSI) that will be evaluated. When a valid Windows Installer file
is entered, the following information about the Windows Installer
file is automatically displayed:
- Name
 
- Version
 
- Product Code
 
- Upgrade code
 
 
- Name
- Match this specific product (Product Code and Upgrade Code)
 
- Select this option for Configuration Manager 2007 to evaluate for a specific software version associated with the Windows Installer file (.MSI) that exists on the destination computer.
- Match any version of this product (Upgrade Code only)
 
- Select this option for Configuration Manager 2007 to evaluate if any version of the software associated with the Windows Installer file exists on the destination computer.
