Use the Dial-up Network Properties tab of the Configuration Manager 2007 configuration item properties dialog box to specify the dial-up network configuration to distribute to mobile devices.
- Name
- Specifies the name of the dial-up network displayed on the mobile device.
- Connects to
- Specifies whether the dial-up network of the mobile device connects to the Internet or a corporate network.
- Phone
- Specifies the phone number used to establish the dial-up network connection. Do not include non-numeric characters such as dashes or periods in the phone number. For example, use 12065550100 for 1-206-555-0100.
- User name
- Specifies the user name for authentication on the dial-up network.
- Domain
- Specifies the domain of the user for authentication.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
