You can use the following procedure to export Configuration Manager 2007 status messages from ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer to a file, which you can then use in other software such as Microsoft Office Excel.

To export status messages

  1. In ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer, click View, and then click Options.

  2. In the Export tab of the Status Viewer Options dialog box, specify the options you want to use for exporting status messages. Click OK when you are finished.

  3. In ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer, click File, and then click Save As.

    If you do not want to export all displayed status messages, select the messages you want to export before exporting the items.
