You must have the Manage Folders permission for the security class to create, delete, move, or modify a folder.
You can create standard folders and search folders in the following console tree items in the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 console:
- Advertisements
 
- Boot images
 
- Computer associations
 
- Configuration packages
 
- Driver packages
 
- Drivers
 
- Operating system images
 
- Packages
 
- Queries
 
- Reports
 
- Software metering rules
 
- Software updates
 
- Task sequences
 
To create a standard folder
- 
Navigate to an applicable Configuration Manager 2007 console tree item. 
- 
Right-click the console tree item, click New, and then click Folder. 
- 
Complete the settings in the New Folder dialog box, and then click OK. 
To rename a standard folder
- 
Navigate to an applicable Configuration Manager 2007 console tree item. 
- 
Right-click the console tree item, and then click Rename. 
- 
Type a new name for the folder and then press ENTER. 
To delete a standard folder
- 
Navigate to the folder you want to delete and right-click the folder. 
- 
On the Action menu, click Delete. 
- 
In the Confirm Folder Delete dialog box, click Yes.
