Folders are used to group Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 objects. The following types of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 objects can be grouped with folders:
- Packages
- Advertisements
- Software metering rules
- Reports
- Queries
- Boot images
- Computer associations
- Operating system images
- Task sequences
- Drivers
- Driver packages
- Configuration packages
The Folders dialog box contains the following element:
- Name
- The name of the folder. Folder names must be less than or equal to 126 characters and must not contain any of the following characters:/ | \ : * ? " < >
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
