Using the Custom Labels node located under the Customize Catalog Configuration Manager console node, administrators can modify custom labels used to group software titles that share a common attribute. For example, a group of titles can be labeled as site-licensed software or shareware, in addition to software category and software family grouping information.

Use the following procedure to modify Asset Intelligence catalog custom labels.
To modify a custom label

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database (<site code> - <site name>) / Computer Management / Asset Intelligence / Customize Catalog / Custom Labels.

Right-click the custom label name, and click Properties.
Note If the Configuration Manager console action pane is displayed, the custom software category can also be modified by clicking the custom label name and then clicking Properties in the action pane. -
Modify the custom label name or description as necessary, and click OK.
