Use the Exchange ActiveSync (WM05) E-mail tab to specify the e-mail properties of the configuration item to distribute to mobile devices. E-mail properties specify default settings for age filtering for calendar data and whether body truncation is applied to conserve device memory and reduce communication traffic.

Specify the settings of the configuration item to be distributed to mobile devices.

Enable e-mail synchronization

Enables e-mail synchronization between the mobile device client and the Exchange server.
Age filter

Specifies the age of e-mail to be synchronized with the client. E-mail older than the specified date will not be synchronized.
Body truncation

Specifies the size of the e-mail downloaded to the mobile device by default. Users can opt to download complete e-mail messages after reviewing the truncated message.
OK

Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
Cancel

Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
Apply

Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
Help

Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
