If the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site requires a RAS sender instead of the standard sender, you must configure an account with permissions to initiate a remote access connection.

To specify the RAS Sender Phone Book Account

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> - <site name> / Site Settings / Addresses.

  2. In the results pane, double-click the name of the sender address.

  3. In the <site code> - <site name> Properties dialog box, on the General tab, for the Phone book account, click Set.

  4. In the Windows User Account dialog box, specify an existing Windows domain user account and password, and then click OK.

  5. Click OK.
