Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 mobile device client health allows administrators to ensure that mobile devices are able to receive policy and report inventory to the Configuration Manager 2007 servers. Client health data is sent to the fallback status point site server. The fallback status point collects client health state data. Verify mobile device client health using the following steps:

To verify mobile device client health

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Reporting / Reports.

  2. Right-click one of the following reports depending upon the health state you want to review:

    • Device Client Agent Deployment Status Details

    • Device Client Agent Deployment Failure Report

    • Device Client Agent Deployment Success Report

    • Device Client Agent Health Summary

    • Device Clients in Healthy condition

    • Device Clients in unhealthy condition due to certificate issues

    • Device Clients in unhealthy condition due to communication issues

    • Device Clients in unhealthy condition due to local client issues

  3. Click Run. The Configuration Manager 2007 report runs and portrays mobile device client health.
