When an advertisement is deleted, Configuration Manager 2007 will remove the advertisement from the database and from clients that have already received it.
To delete an advertisement, you must have Delete permission for the Advertisement security object or instance type, and Read permission for both the collection and package associated with the advertisement. To delete an advertisement

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Distribution / Advertisements.

In the results pane, right-click the advertisement you want to delete and then click Delete.

Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the advertisement.
