The Configuration Manager 2007 Software Distribution Advertisements Properties dialog boxes display information about software distribution advertisements and allows users to configure settings for those advertisements.
Two dialog boxes are available for configuring advertisement settings: the Advertisement Properties dialog box and the <Advertisement Name> Properties dialog box. These dialog boxes include settings both for advertisements in general and for specific advertisements, including advertisement schedules, distribution points, and advertisement security rights.

- Advertisements Properties
- Specifies general and security information about all advertisements within the Software Distribution node.
- Advertisement Name Properties
- Specifies information (including schedule, distribution points, security, and other settings) about a specific advertisement. These dialog boxes are available by right-clicking the specific advertisement <advertisement name> and then clicking Properties.
