Specify a Package Access Account

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Package security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

Access accounts enable you to grant, limit, or revoke access to package source files on distribution points, per user or user group.

  1. Navigate to Access Accounts.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelPackages
           Lower levelpackage
             Lower levelAccess Accounts

  3. Right-click Access Accounts, point to New, and then click the type of access account you want (Windows NT, NetWare NDS, NetWare Bindery, or generic).
  4. In the Access Account Properties dialog box, specify the user or user group account that can access a package on the distribution points for this package.
