Event to Trap Translator Client Agent Overview

You use the Event to Trap Translator to configure which Windows NT events on a client are translated to SNMP traps. In order to use the Event to Trap Translator, you must first configure clients to translate SNMP traps. As part of the client configuration, you must configure the Event to Trap Translator Client Agent. For more information about using SNMP with SMS, see Translating SNMP Traps Overview.
