As Systems Management Server (SMS) finds resources and assigns them to sites for management, you can configure client agents to run on these resources. Client agents determine whether clients can be controlled remotely, receive advertised programs, meter software use, report hardware and software inventory, and translate Windows NT events to SNMP traps. Located in the SMS Administrator console tree, Client Agents enables you to configure which SMS client agents are installed on clients and how these agents are configured and maintained.
Note For information about SMS 2.0 features that are supported on a Windows NT Terminal Server, see the SMS 2.0 release notes.
