Before you can view and use reports in Virtual Machine Manager, you must configure Operations Manager integration with VMM, which includes deploying the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 Management Pack, and you must import an additional management pack that installs virtualization reports. VMM reports are generated by Operations Manager, but they can be opened in Reporting view of the Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console.

The following checklist summarizes the tasks that are required to set up reporting in VMM. For step-by-step instructions and report descriptions, see the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 Management Pack Guide, available at Management Pack Guides for Server Products (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=120279).
