Example

For an example of creating an override for a rule, see How to Create an Override for a Rule.

For example code that demonstrates how to get information about an override, see How to Get Information about an Override.

Remarks

To figure out which parameters can have an override, you must look at the definition of the rule in the management pack that defines the rule. All the parameters that can have an override are defined in the OverrideableParameters element of the rule.

You can also call the GetOverrideableParameters method to get the list of parameters programmatically.
