The GetArticleId method, in Configuration Manager, gets the software update knowledge base article ID.

Parameters

pbstrArticleId


Data type: BSTRQualifiers: [out, retval]Knowledge base article ID for the software update. The maximum length for this value is 64 characters.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

S_OK


The method succeeded.

Remarks

The caller is responsible for calling the string manipulation function SysFreeString when finished with the ID string.
