The GetBulletinId method, in Configuration Manager, gets the software update bulletin ID.

Parameters

pbstrBulletinId


Data type: BSTRQualifiers: [out, retval]Pointer to the bulletin ID for security updates released by Microsoft. The maximum length for this value is 64 characters. The default value is "None".

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

S_OK


The method succeeded.

Remarks

The caller is responsible for calling the string manipulation function SysFreeString when finished with the ID string.
