Update Computer
The Update Computer object enables you to change the properties of a computer within Active Directory.How it is usedUse the Update Computer to update a computer’s properties after performing an audit using a configuration management tool.ConfigurationTo configure the Update Computer object you need to know which connection you would like to use and the properties of the computers you want to change.Properties Tab
Connection Click the ellipsis button (...) and select the Microsoft Active Directory connection that you want to use. Identity Type the DN, SID, GUID, UPN or Domain\Name of the computer that you want to update. Field Choose the properties you want to update by using the Select Fields button then specify the new values for the computer.Available Published DataNote:Some published data values will only be available if the corresponding Optional property was configured in the Properties tab.
Name Description Command The powershell command that was executed for this object. Count The number of items returned by the powershell command. Description The description of the computer. DeserializeValues Determines whether values were deserialized from a data source such as a text file. DisplayName The value of the Display Name attribute of the computer. ExcludedProperties The list of properties that were excluded from being retrieved. Identity The identity of the computer. IncludedProperties The list of properties that were included to be retrieved. ObjectAttributes The list of Object Attributes that were specified. Standard output The standard out stream that was returned by the powershell command. Domain user The name of the user that was used to authenticate this action on the Microsoft Active Directory system. UseDefaultExcludedProperties The value of the UseDefaultExcludedProperties parameter.
