If you specified a test computer during Setup, the default objects created will install the Configuration Manager 2007 Inventory Tool for Microsoft Updates on the test computer. To install the inventory tool on all applicable clients, you must either modify the default collections or create your own advertisements and collections. If you specified a synchronization host that does not have access to the Internet or does not have a continuously logged on user, you must do additional management of the synchronization host. After your clients have run the inventory tool, you can see the results in the reports.
