After the error is resolved, click Resume to resume the process. Click Rollback to revert to the previously executed step.
In the Summary page, click Finish.
Notes:
To create a snapshot LUN, use the ESI PowerShell Toolkit. ESI does not support creating snapshot LUNs from the ESI window, but you can create them using ESI PowerShell cmdlets. Getting started with the ESI PowerShell toolkits provides more details. You can then view and delete snapshot LUNs in the ESI window.
You cannot create or delete snapshot LUNs for VMAX systems in ESI. However, future ESI releases will support snapshot LUNs.
For a block storage system, when you can create snapshot LUNs, ESI adds a new snapshot LUNs storage pool to the Storage Pool tab. This pool groups and presents all the snapshot LUNs created for that storage system in that special storage pool. This pool is just a group and is not an actual storage pool. Viewing storage pools provides details about storage pools.
