Setting up a nonadministrator account to use
the Monitor Manager
The following settings are needed.

For Setting A, to add file access to the
BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Manager:
Open the File Explorer on the system.
Locate the file folder:
%ProgramFiles%\HP BladeSystem Management Pack for Operations
Manager 2007\Tools
Right-click the file folder, and then in
the context menu, select Properties.
Select the Security tab.
To allow read/execute access to the Monitor
Manager tool, click Edit and
then choose either of the following:
Add Users group ("<Computer Domain
Name>\Users").
For non-English operating system, use the
appropriate name instead of Users.
Close the dialog, and then exit the File
Explorer.
For Setting B, to add file access to the
BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service and to the BladeSystem
Enclosure Monitor Manager:
Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) on
the system.
Locate the key at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\HP BladeSystem
Enclosure Monitor Service.
Right-click the key, and in the context
menu, select Permission.
Click Add, and then register a user or a
group.
Update the permission to the user or the
group:
To enable the user or group members
managing OA credential data such as add, remove, and update, select
the Full Control
checkbox.
To enable the user to see currently
registered OA and status, select the Read checkbox.
Close the permission dialog, and then exit
the Registry Editor.
When using with read-only setting, no explicit
error message appears stating the nonadministrator account does not
have write access to the Monitor Service. The following error
message appears when attempting to modify the configuration with
read-only access permission.
