The Manage Distribution Points Wizard guides you through the steps necessary to send, update, refresh, or operating system images on distribution points so that the image can be deployed to clients.
As you complete the wizard, you will be prompted to specify the following information:

Select the management task to perform:
- Copy the package data to new distribution
- Update all distribution points with a new
package source version.
- Refresh the package on selected distribution
|Updating distribution points with a new package source version automatically applies to all distribution points defined for the package, ensuring that consistent package source files are used.|
- Remove the package from selected distribution
Select the distribution points that you want to add, update, refresh, or remove. If you are copying the package data to new distribution points, the list contains only the distribution points in the site that do not currently support the package. If you are refreshing or removing package data on distribution points, the list contains only the distribution points that currently support the package.
To select a group of distribution points to add, update, or remove, click Select Group (which opens the Browse Distribution Point Group dialog box).
