Configuration Manager 2007 clients evaluate their compliance with assigned configuration baselines on a configured schedule. The default evaluation schedule is configured as a property of the desired configuration management client agent. This value is used as the default for all configuration baseline assignments, but each configuration baseline can be configured to have its own schedule.

To configure the compliance evaluation schedule

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> – <site name> / Site Settings / Client Agents.

  2. Right-click Desired Configuration Management Client Agent, and then click Properties.

  3. On the General tab, click either Simple schedule to configure a simple schedule such as every day, or click Custom schedule and then click Customize if you need to define a more complex schedule.

    To schedule a time in coordinated universal time (UTC) rather than the default of the client local time, use a custom schedule and specify the UTC option.
  4. Click OK.
