If a package source directory is on a NetWare server or volume, the site server must run the Gateway Service for NetWare, so that it can use the IPX protocol to access the package source files. To specify a package source directory on a NetWare distribution point, use a universal naming convention (UNC) name (you can connect with a drive letter and use the Browse dialog box to navigate to it). The source directory cannot be the root of the shared drive if the distribution point is running NetWare.
