Status Threshold Properties Dialog
Box: General Tab
Use this tab to specify the number of status messages of a
specified type that must be generated by this component to change
its status in the Component Status Summarizer.
Message type
The severity of
the status messages whose status message thresholds can be changed
in this dialog box. To change the message type, click the Thresholds tab of the Component Status
Summarizer Properties dialog box, and then reset the type as
needed.
Status message thresholds
Specify the number of warning and critical messages that this
component must generate in order to cross the warning or critical
thresholds.
Warning
The number of status messages that must be generated by this
component to change its status to Warning ()
in the Component Status Summarizer. The default value is 2000. A
value of zero disables the threshold, meaning it is never crossed
regardless of how many messages are generated.
Critical
The number of status messages that must be generated by this
component to change its status to Critical () in the Component
Status Summarizer. The default value is 5000. A value of zero
disables the threshold, meaning it is never crossed regardless of
how many messages are generated.
