Use the following procedure to create a new Control Activity from the Service Manager console.

To create a new Control Activity

  1. In the Service Manager console, in the Navigation pane, select Compliance and Risk Items.
  2. In the Compliance and Risk Items pane, expand All Compliance and Risk Items, expand Control Management, expand Control Activities, and then select All Control Activities.
  3. In the Task pane, click Create Control Activity.

    The Control Activity <ca_id> form appears, where co_id is the unique identifier for the new Control Activity that you are creating.

  4. Complete the Control Activity <ca_id> form using the information in the following table, and then click OK to create a new Control Activity.

    Required Control Activity Form Information




  • Title of the Control Activity.
  • Owner of the Control Activity.
  • Type of the Control Activity.
  • Procedure type of the Control Activity.
  • Schedule of the Control Activity (Optional for Automated Control Activities).

Validation (Optional for automated control activities.)

  • Automation Assembly Name.
  • Automation Class Name.
