New DTS Job Dialog Box: General Tab

Use this tab to select the data source for the new DTS job.

When the data source is selected, the system automatically:

The General tab is also used to enable/disable a DTS job.

To select This DTS job is enabled check box, you must first complete the following:

Select a data source
Set the Run As account for MOM 2005 SP1 and above DTS jobs
Set a schedule
Note
- The Run As account does not apply to SMS 2003 SP2 and above DTS jobs.

Note

To apply the required settings in the New DTS Job dialog box, click Apply after you have made the required settings in each of the four tabs in the dialog box.
