Select one of the rows in the Results pane and right-click to
display the context
menu.
In this menu, select the Enable,
Disable or Delete Data Source to
make available, unavailable or delete the specified data
source.
Select the EnableData Source to
display the enable data source confirmation dialog
box. If yes is selected, the data source is enabled. The DTS jobs
for this data source have to be manually selected.
Select the DisableData Source option
displays the disable data source confirmation
dialog box. If yes is selected, all DTS jobs for this data source
will be disabled and no data will be transferred to the data
warehouse.
Select the Delete Data Source option displays
the delete data source confirmation dialog. If yes
is selected and if there is no job run against this data source,
the selected data source is deleted otherwise an error message is
displayed to the user that this data source cannot be deleted.
You may also use the Data Source Properties dialog
box and select the General tab to enable or
disable a data source.
The Disable data source Confirmation dialog is
displayed when you clear the This data source is
enabled check box in the General
tab.
On confirmation, the data source is disabled and all DTS jobs associated with it are
disabled. The global grooming jobs continue to groom data from a
disabled data source from the data warehouse.
