Add Data Source

The Add Data Source Wizard guides you through the process of adding a data source to the SCRM.

The Wizard displays the following pages:

1. Welcome
2. Data Source Type
3. Data Source Server
4. Data Source SQL Server Instance
5. Data Source Database
6. General
7. Account Name
8. Confirmation
9. Finish

When SMS 2003 SP2 and above data source is added, two jobs are automatically created; Full Sync and Delta. The Full Sync Job transfers all data from the SMS site to the data warehouse and the Delta transfers only the data modified since the last sync job was executed.

For MOM 2005 SP1 and above data source, only one job is created.
